CITYCAMP is a mobile day camp in neighbourhoods across the Greater Toronto Area. Guests turning 6-12 years grow, learn, laugh and, most of all, have unforgettable FUN. Huge water slides, archery, skateboarding, bazooka ball, teambuilding, arts, nature experiences and all kinds of creativity-boosting activities make every day new and exciting. All the fun of Muskoka Woods comes to a location near you!
Every year, we hire the best and brightest young adults to join our CITYCAMP team. Staff members live, or temporarily reside, near their camp location for a local connection. Our staff receives seven days of training before camp begins in such areas as: occupational health & safety, emergency preparedness & procedure, customer service standards, youth culture & development, information from a child protection expert and specific training for each age group at camp.
Jeremy has been the Director of CITYCAMP since 2014. Before coming to Muskoka Woods, Jeremy was the Director of two other day camps over 10 years. Jeremy graduated with a B.R.E. in Recreation Leadership from Tyndale University College and also completed a diploma in Outdoor Education from Summit College in Huntsville. He has served as the Day Camp Representative on the Board of the Ontario Camps Association, as well as numerous committees developing training events for camp professionals. Jeremy resides in Newmarket, Ontario with his wife and two sons.
Supported by local schools, churches and youth organizations, CITYCAMP locations are in kid-friendly environments in a growing number of neighbourhoods from Stouffville to Burlington.
CITYCAMP is looking for new locations to offer our exciting summer program! If you know of a great place in your community that would be interested in hosting this type of experience, please email email@example.com.
My son appreciated all the fun time he had outside, and he said that you guys made learning fun. I’m grateful for all the counsellors who were so enthusiastic and caring. It is great to have counsellors who care about the children's basic needs, in addition to the camp's content.
