APPLICATION PROCESS

Welcome to our on-line application system! You can apply from season to season and year to year without having to create a new profile each time.

Read all the steps below in order to fully understand the application process before you begin.

Step One (Application):

To fill out your application you will need:
  • Names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of 3 references – they cannot be relatives or friends. They should have a good knowledge of your character, experience and suitability to work with children. The system will automatically e-mail a form directly to your references.
  • Your Social Insurance Number – if you are not Canadian, please contact our HR Department.
  • Your Health Card number.
  • A photo of yourself that you can download onto your profile. (This is NOT mandatory, but is really helpful to the hiring team.)
Fill out the application fully! Your application will not successfully come through to us until you have pressed the submit button on the LAST PAGE. Be sure to save as you go.

Step Two (Pick a Job):

Once you’ve received the message of success, you will be asked to apply for any job/s you are interested in. We have done our best to provide a thorough description of the job, however, if you have any questions, feel free to e-mail us.

Step Three (Screening):

Your application is complete when all 3 of your references have been submitted. Since hundreds of applications are created each year, it is the responsibility of the applicant to notify Muskoka Woods when all 3 references are in. Simply send us an e-mail to alert us, then, we would be happy to review your profile. If you are chosen to move forward in the process, you will receive an e-mail, offering you an interview.
Return Staff – you are required to submit a new/current reference. Please simply "add" this information on your profile and the system will automatically send the reference form. This needs to be someone who is not currently one of your references, and cannot be a Muskoka Woods related person. You may use, teachers, pastors, coaches or employers.
