Summer Camp is so important for kids and teenagers. There aren’t many other opportunities where your children can learn new arts and athletic activities, make new friends from around the world, improve their social awareness, their life skills and grow in confidence all at the same place.

Every year we hear hundreds of stories of the new friendships that have been made at Muskoka Woods. The friendship arc is accelerated when you spend a week in a cabin, eating, playing and sharing great moments together.
Learning social skills at Summer Camp
Summer Camp offers a unique opportunity for kids to learn how they can be at their best in a safe community. They get to practice making friends, eating, sleeping and sharing life together in their cabin. They’ll meet people from around the world who have had different life experiences than they have. At Muskoka Woods it all adds up to a great place to learn social skills.
What does Christian Content mean at Muskoka Woods?
At Muskoka Woods we welcome guests into a safe environment and encourage them to explore their beliefs. We don’t prescribe religion, we engage campers in age-appropriate conversations about values through our Christian lens.
WILD and Venture guests participate in Cabin Chat where they learn about Christian values in an engaging way through Bible based teaching. As a cabin, they’ll talk about each day’s topic and then get to show their creative side with an activity.
At Convo Café, Junior High, Senior High and Crew guests can choose between two streams: Exploring Life and Diving Deeper. Exploring Life is focused on values based teaching that are relevant to their specific age group. At Diving Deeper, guests will learn more about Christian values and personal beliefs through Bible based teaching.
No matter which stream they choose, these sessions create a safe space for listening, laughing and learning about values and morals. We encourage young people to think in new ways.
Whatever the occasion, our conversations are age appropriate and respectful of all religions and beliefs.
